Default Post your pics pf your C5 lowered on bolts!

Any of you mind posting pics of your C5 lowered on stock bolts? Trying to get an idea on how its gonna look before I go through with it. From what I hear, it's not recommended to lower more than 1 inch on stock bolts. Is that true? Any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Can you actually take all 4 bolts completely out? Seems like I read this in somebodys post a few day ago. If so would you have to put some kind of bolt back in it's place? Not trying to hijack your thread, I've been wanting to lower my Vette and just wanted to make sure I didn't screw anything up.

Thanks,
Derek

you can only remove the front 2, and yes mine are out, and yes, i would still like to drop another 1"+
the front spring is pushed up on top of the lower control arm, so removing it is no problem
the rear spring is hung by the bolt, so you lengthen distance or use longer bolts only

Did you put a pad in place to offset any ware? If not will the spring/arm ware down?

Mine still has the bolts w/most of the rubber cut off. I thout about a hard rubber pad and no bolts.

My bolt was hard to get out to cut the rubber. So I cut the bolt from the top side of the spring. Than I was able to remove it easyer from the bottom to cut the rubber and put it back.
