bought a 99 vert this year and sold my c3. getting ready to retire this year (i am a teacher) and i am looking for an active corvette club in the st. louis/alton, il. area. i have emailed a couple of clubs i found in internet searchs that looked good with no response so maybe they are not accepting new members or haven't checked their emails. in any event, if there are clubs in the area that are accepting new members, send me a private email with your web site and i will consider applying. i am normally on the c5 tech forum.

That's the club I belong to, there are several clubs in the area. The Looking Glass Club Of Illinois also. They attend our meetings and so on.
A great bunch of people. We meet the Second Tuesday of every month at Pietro's of South County. Visitors are always welcome. Please PM me if you have any further questions. David

St. Louis has several clubs - The Original Corvette Club of St. Louis, Route 66 Corvette Club and Boone Trail Corvette Club.

I am a memeber of original corvette club of St Louis and we are always welcoming new members. We may be a little too far south for you though if you are in the Alton area. Everyone in this club is very friendly and always has some kind of fun ride going on.
