Buying a 2003 Z06, no records?
Hey guys, I have been a member here for quite some time, but never really posted much because I never had a corvette, just learned a lot on here, but now I want to go check out a 2003 C5 Z06, and ran a carfax report, and it only came up with 2 records, which are mileage recorded at 52 miles, and original owner owned the car for 4 years. I was wondering if there is anyway to pull up any records through Chevorlet to see what services were performed on the car, probably not much. I am really interested in the car and plan on flying over to Las Vegas, to check it out. Hopefully all my waiting for the right car pays off. Any help would be appreciated. Warranty work at a GM dealer will show up at all GM dealers (on their computer system).
Work outside of warranty will show up ONLY at the performing dealer.
When GM grows up (like Sam's Club), they should be able to show all work (warranty and other) at all GM dealerships. Not yet. Even Walmart's auto dept computers show only local auto work, at that specific store.)
