Default Pioneer AVIC N2

Greetings All, I am in the market for a GPS / MP3 / DVD all in one system for my new vette, I was looking at the Pioneer AVIC N2. Does anyone have this model? If so do they recommend it?

If not, what model would you guys recommend? I am looking to spend around 1k..

Or would I be better off getting a nice sound system and a garmin / tomtom for GPS?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!!

Thanks for the replies, what are the major differences between the n2 and n3?

I'm deciding on either one, and I cant see the big difference between both.

I have the N2 and I have to tell you that I have had my share of problems ... I had to send it back to Pioneer 2x once it would not turn on only the flip screen would open but that was it
Then the unit would shut off for no reason whatsoever during driving home from the office.

Ofcourse the retailer didnt tell me that because there was a processor inside because essentially the unit is a "computer" and like any computer it has its tendencies. Whatever.... I was incredibly frustrated not having a radio plus having to deal with Sirius to stop service ... Just thinking about it again I get the neck twitches.
Over all on a scale of 1-10 10 best I rate this a 6.5 its nice I have the dvd hooked up so that I can view my concerts on the screen while driving or listening (whatever) but I would have appreciated a more cleaner indash screen if one was available (ugh finally got the right thread to use the dead horse one_
