Could be several things. When it happened to me I had to replace my ABS computer. Im sure others will chime in with their experience.

Any other messages come up, like for the Active Handling or ABS? When my EBCM went out I got messages for all 3 at once, Traction Control, Active Handling, & ABS! Luckily my warranty paid for all of it. Otherwise it would've cost me $3k at the dealer for a new EBCM & ABS Module. Good luck!

Check your Codes, it should shed some light on what the problem is. When mine went off it was the steering wheel position sensor. 40 bucks and an hour and a half later it was fixed and ready to go!

That's happened to me twice about 6 months apart. The last time was yesterday. Both times I pulled over took the key out and got out of the car. Started it back up and it was normal. Checked for codes and their were 3 history codes. Just going to wait and see if comes back permanently.

If you get all 3 messages at once check your codes. Probably will get C1214 (i think that is the one). This is a problem with your ECBM, but don't be alarmed! A problem that could potentally cost almost $2,000 at the dealer can be fixed for $158 bucks! Just get your screw driver and pull the ECBM out and ship it off to Brandon at www.absfixer.com. He repairs it the day it arrives and ships it back UPS next day air. Lifetime warranty!! He just repaired mine last week, put it back in the car today and it works perfect. If your getting the message every few days or weeks then most likely you will be doing this repair very soon. Do a search for "C1214" to get all the info you need.

There are several codes that will generate all 3 messages. Codes associated with the wheel speed sensors will trigger all 3. C1214 has been discussed quite a bit lately on the forum but that doesn't mean it always comes up.
