Default Hurst Pistol grip shifter w/ button

Anybody running one? I checked JEGS website but I don't know if it includes the right thread adapters. Anybody know what the thread specs are for a C5 vette?

Here's what their site says:

"Pistol Grip Handle w/12-Volt switch
-12mm x 1.75 Mustang
-16mm x 1.50 Camaro/Firebird
Hurst Billet/Plus shifters for these applications "

Hurst does not make a pistol grip with button for the C5. I had to resort to just the black one without the button.

I'm thinking about seeing if my local machine shop can make an adapter for the C5 threads.

I really like the feel of the pistol grip for dragstrip duty (hard to lose grip) and I would prefer one with the button on top for setting the 2-step.

eh, I'll see what I can come up with.

Just an educated guess but a shop will charge you $50-100 for an adapter... find a buddy that works in one and he'll do it for a case of beer I'm guessing... Best to find a small shop that will do walk-in type work. Good luck!

Yea, we've got a guy that does a bunch of machine work for the company I work for. Just a small time guy, like you mentioned. He won't charge me much at all.
