I had a new ProGOld Luk clutch w/Alum flywheel installed in 99 vert a few months ago and now I am experiencing wheel hop. Anyone had any experience with wheel hop and the Pro gold w/Alum flywheel? Never happened before with two different stock clutches........

I have this setup.... clutch has nothing to do with wheel hop. Has to do with tire compound, pressures, and rear suspension setup.

Ok, then could it be related to the '03' Z06 transmission I had installed when they did the clutch?

It has nothing to do with your clutch set up. Like Cobra4B stated, it has to do with traction or lack there of.

and wheel hop can very quickly become expensive - if you don't have a brace I'd recommend getting one...

The only connection these upgrades could have to your wheel hop is how much HP and torque is now getting to the wheels/tires. Now that you are able to really put force on the tires they are starting to hop. Upgrade your suspension and you'll be better off.

You're getting wheel hop because w/ the more aggressive gearing of the MN12 and the aluminum flywheel the car is accelerating much faster w/ the samer power from the motor.

Thus you're getting hop... you need to mess w/ the suspension.
