Default Corvette Cowl, Carbon Fiber, 1997-2004

Has anyone bought the carbon fiber replacement for the original plastic cowl on the windshield? If so, any pics or feedback on fit/finish? I am considering it since the plastic cowl just looks cheap.

I bought mine from WWC. Fitment and quality of the carbon fiber is awesome. It says on their site up to two weeks for delivery but I got mine in 3 days.

Fit and finish is great. Definately an improvement over stock.

It's not a replacement, it's a cover I believe. I'm a carbon fiber junkie, but I don't have that piece yet, but I keep my eyes out for one.

"Peel and stick installation. " It is a cover, looks pretty sweet though.

i've been eyeing that piece for sometime myself.

I was wondering how you get the wiper arms off to install it?

^Its been a while but if I remember correctly you don't have to. You just remove the blades (as if you were replacing them) and then slip the arms thru the holes in the cowl.

Actually Ecklers offers the cover and the replacement. Of course the replacement is more money. Has anyone bought that one?

My son has this on his vette. He also purchased it from West Coast Corvettes and had them install it. It looks great. Hope this helps.

I've been looking at these also. For the money it seems like the WCC piece is the way to go.
