Default Differential leaking

How much to get repaired? Im pretty sure its leaking around the o-ring area? is this common with these cars? Can I still drive the car or should i not drive till I get that fixed??

How much should this run me? Can I still drive it until i get the cash to change seals?

depends on how much fluid you are loosing.

Yes it seems to be a common problem - I've had it happen to mine three times now, but the last time they seem to have gotten it fixed. I'd recommend you do get it repaired - it won't get any better on its own. Mine was repaired under warranty, so not totally sure of the cost to repair. You can drive the car, but it may get pretty messy on the rear of the car if it really starts to leak a lot. Plus it is what is lubricating your rear differential gears, so in waiting you take your chances.

Be sure they use the revised seal and cover. There is a bulletin on this.

where can I go to see this bulletin? Right now its only leaving maybe a teeny tiny drop or 2 on the garage floor every week or so.

It cost me about $350 for parts and labor to have the driver's side cover o-ring and the axle seal replaced.
