You can get it from McMaster Carr--type in wire mesh in their search engine and go from there, this is what you want --Type 304 SS Woven Wire Cloth----5x5 for configuration ---.047 wire diameter-------12" x 12"= size of piece of SS mesh (enough to do two cars)--part #85385T817 ($ 18.45)
trim can be found at any auto store (its black door edge guard ) 5.95 if you have any questions please ask i'm here to help all

This answer the question that I just posted. I was looking for this info. I see that you cut the plate and bumper with a utility knife, was it hard to cut with that knife?

I just noticed that you said there is enough for two cars. Want to sell the screen and some moulding?

Actually a box cutter works just as well on the bumper, cutting the license plate cover can also be achieved with a dremel, be careful when cutting into the bumper itself, your fog light wires run along the bottom portion. Nice job!!
After I found another company wanted $300. for theirs, I decided to go another route also. It's not a close up, but still can be seen.

I have a question for those who have done the mod themselves or bought something to do this. What about water getting into the filter and then into the engine? Do you have this problem? I have wondered about that for several systems out there.

I haven't had a problem with that, and I am running a "Blackwing," no covered system, than again, rarely are we caught in the rain, as far as washing, I don't spray water directly through the tunnel port. Hope that helps.

Thank you Renagad44, appreciate the response. I get caught in intermitent rain storms that are very hard down pours for short periods of time and have had one bad experience so wondered how this mod might be affected.

No its very easy just use a new sharp blade and take your time-knife your edge in with the tip of the blade and just go over it again and again --once you get thru its easy --just make sure you dont try and cut what you havent already scored in
