I know all of you will appreciate this as much as me --who would have known that General Curtis LeMay might have played a small part in getting GM to build the CORVETTE-- He wanted a sports car for his returning soldiers

Well they did run out of time as the approached the C4, barely gave mention to the C5 and minimized it in place of C6. Seems like they needed a number of more segments because the design and technology changes made automotive history with C5.
