Default Download Owners Manual in PDF Format

I'll bet I am not the only one who did not know that you could download a pdf version of your owners manual. Why would you want that when we all (or almost all) have the printed version? Well, because it is machine searchable. Rather than spending many minutes to find a particular reference, you can get it in seconds. It is also the fastest way to determine what is NOT in the owners manual. You might also want to download it to your PDA! They are available at:

https://www.mygmlink.com

The downside is you have to register with GM... I don't usually like to give such info, but I figure the first time I go in for dealer service, they will know who I am anyway, so I figured what the heck?

Use this link, but insert the year of your car in place of the 2002 (in the link), and you gain access to a PDF of your manual without having to jump thru hoops:

Looks like we have a complete set now! Good work, you guys. Seems like the full set ought to be a sticky somewhere.

There are also a number of sites where you can go to download the GM owner's manuals without having to register. Here are a few for the C5/6 Corvette:

Corvette Action Center - C5 GM Owner's Manuals

Fred Beans - GM Corvette Owner's Manuals

GM Parts House - GM Corvette Owner's Manuals

Can you find a different GM vehicle owner's manual somewhere on that site?

Thanks, Instead of "2004" in the address they changed it to "2k04".

Great, Thanks again.

I assume so, although I didn't try any others. It first asks what make, then what model and year. So I would say they are available for other GM vehicles as well.

I just now changed "2k04corvette.pdf" to "2007tahoe.pdf" in the address bar and up comes the Manual for my Tahoe. Looks like it works for a Tahoe. Try it for whatever you got and see.

GREAT thread! Should be a C5 Gen STICKY! The .pdf is much easier to search through.

I still have the "low-tech" version in my glovebox as a backup.

There was no infotainment manual for the C5. It is all included in the Owner's Manual. You may be thinking about the C7 Infotainment Manual.
