The Widowmaker got her hoops installed last night!
Thats right...it was time for Elite Street Vettes second mod party It was time to install the RK Sport hoops after I got Brian to powdercoat them to match my wheels
Justin and Gary were gracious enough to come on over to my warehouse and help with the install. I cannot tell you how great it sounds when you here multiple vettes coming around the corner
So here are the pics...I know Justin can chime in and took better pics...these were off my camera phone:
The Widowmaker before the hoops:
The crew arrived and we are ready to begin:
Removing the waterfall:
Hoops installed and ready for final carpet touch ups:
1 Hoop Installed:
The technique is all in the legs baby!:
Is this what these things are for?
Finished hoops:
Hoops installed:
Thanks again to Justin and Gary!
ESV RUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZ:cheer s:
Now...one more question. Any suggestions on a washer or something that can fit around the base of each hoop and hide the imperfections in my carpet?

no...I used PL adhesive from Home Depot which is REALLY REALLY strong adhesive...someone joked to me that you could pick your car up by the hoops once this stuff is used...but no...still could not trust it...and if you want to bolt them in, you have to drop the gas tank...

they would but the problem is how to get them on...these are made to install before the roll bar is installed...my hoops were already welded to the base..so I need a ring that can fit around the base of the hoop and closes...so close tho!

Are those black or Chrome? Either way they look awesome.
about the carpet surrounding it, I saw a guy that took some rubber pipe and somehow wrapped it around the base of the hoops. Looked pretty nice.
