I would guess somwhere from 1000-1500 for installation and around 500 for a tune.

Contact forum member England Green - he does these and can tell you what he would charge.

If you get a vendor to do it I believe most of them have the tune included in the price

I can send you a quote on what ECS charges for a heads and cam package, including new heads, cam, springs, retainers, ported throttle body/oil pump, underdrive pulley, doublechain, etc., plus installation and tune.

If you're gonna do it, do it right the first time.

I'll send you a pm in a few minutes.

LPE (21st Century MC) charges ~$5k, includes:

Heads and cam,

Kooks headers,

Borla or Corsa exhaust,

Intake,

Tune,

Etc.

Best money the S/O ever spent

If I had it to do over again, instead of the LPE 427 in my Vert I would go with the same package the S/O has

It cost me right at $3k for AFR heads and cam and around $2k for the install but I had headers and x-pipe installed at the same time so that is included in the price.

For a full head and cam package you can spend anywhere from about $5,000 up to almost $7,000. The biggest difference is what heads are chosen for the package. Any questions, just let me know.

I am interested as well. I had intake and exhaust work done on my 2004 Z06 that dyno'd 396 rwhp. What could I get that would still ensure good street manners and what would it cost? Last payment is only a couple of months away and the wife said I could molest the engine when it was officially mine
