Got challenged by a Dodge Charger SRT8
I was coming home recently and was sitting in the left turn lane with my blinker on waiting to turn into my neighborhood. I was on a road with a divided median and 3 lanes on each side. I heard a horn toot behind me and looked in my rear view mirror. There was a yellow and black SRT8 behind me. The guy stuck his hand out the window and motioned for me to do a U turn so we could run. I just laughed and went on home.
Now, here's the good part. I went to have lunch with my wife. She is a high school librarian. I saw said yellow and black SRT8 in the school parking lot. I was thinking it belonged to a parent. I asked my wife about it and she said it belongs to a student. I told her the story about the race. She said "his mom would kill him!"
Moral of the story, you never know who is behind the wheel when someone tries to street race you.

This actually happened a few weeks ago. I didn't figure out who the kid was until Friday. I had seen that car parked at school in a reserved spot. (Private wealthy school) I went on Friday to pick up my wife for lunch and this car was parked there. I asked my wife who's car it was. Said one of the students cars was in the shop and his dad collected classic cars. Said daddy let him drive this one to school that day. I then asked about the Charger.
