Default Aftermarket Alarm

I installed a two-way 1/2 mile range alarm system after my factory alarm Fob stop working. I bought it on ebay for a small price. It works like a charm. It's a MotionTek Mt-8000R. I did not hook up the auto-start functions. If you do not have any experience with installation let a pro do it for you. However, they will recomened the brand name alarms that cost more money.

Default

I have the Python 990 Pager alarm... It's got a 1 mile range with times when it's reached 2 miles away. If it can't get a signal to the fob to let you know it's been tripped, it'll start jumping AM frequencies to signal you.

Nothing's absolute, but this gives me a little more peace of mind.

Just my .02¢

Dave
