Here's mine with the Dupli-Color kit. Three coats; close enough to be a perfect match for me -

This won't be much good to you as I'm in Canada and you're in NJ but I got it at the local Canadian Tire store (automotive and general hardware). I'm sure it's readily available in the US of A. It comes in a kit - a can of paint and a spray can of brake cleaner plus a (useless) paint brush.

I used the same Duplicolor red caliper paint. It's a pretty close match and I just got it at Advance Auto parts store.

I had mine powder coated to match the car (pewter) with black lettering. I also had them do the centers of the rotors to get rid of the "rusty look." Took it to a good paint shop in my neck of the woods.

I used Folia Tec and it matches very well, but the pics of the Duplicolor sure looks good too.

I can email you a pic, but I'm not setup on Photobucket - too stubborn to register.

Hi vinnyxgunz -

Torch red has quite a bit of orange in it.

The Duplicolor red brush on paint is a little deeper red - less orange.

The best I could find was the Dupli-color Ford Red engine paint. I used this on my wifes 99 coupe to paint the calipers. This paint had enough orange in it to be close to torch.

Twenty five thousand miles later the calipers still look good.

Here is a link to a write-up of how I paint calipers -

best regards -

Hi Zozzie -

I really like the silver brackets and the red calipers - nice touch.

The Mag rims really set that off - thanks for the pic.

best regards -

G2 caliper paint. (found on ebay) It has a hardener in it and is super durable. Here's a pic of it a day after being painted (letter scraped off with exacto knife)
