How many gallons in our gas tank?
So I tucked my baby away for the winter 2 weeks ago but hav'nt gotten around to adding STABIL to the gas tank as yet since I am not sure how many gallons of gas is in there. The gas tank is full right now as she sits. Before someone pipes this, I already know I am lazy

Depends on where you look to find out how much gas it holds. According to www.corvetteactioncenter.com '97-'00 has a 19.1 gallon tank, '01-'03 has a 18.5 gallon tank, and '04 has a 18 gallon tank.

realize too that if you put stabil in the tank you need to run the car for a while to circulate the stabil around, helps to make sure that you get the stabil in all of the fuel system.
don't forget to tell her sweet dreams for the winter.

Mine is 18 gallons - one of the bottles that treats 20 gallons will work just fine.

That should have been pre-mixed or put into a low tank 1st. Then run for about 10 minutes to circulate thru the engine. Might not do much good putting it into a full tank now.

Some other posts suggested running the engine for 5 minutes to let it circulate through the system. Your fuel system doesn't operate like an oil return system.
