Default Do You Guys Have An Annoying Hum Through The Speakers?

I suppose your exhuast would have to be stock or relatively quite to hear it but there is an annoying hum sound through the speakers which basically can be heard at idle or it seems to increase with speed as well... does anyone else have this ****??? It makes me go insane!

First check the connections and grounds.
Does it do it when the radio is off? If it does it is probably a problem with the amplifier built into the door speakers. My drivers side speaker made that noise. I replaced it with a used speaker and have not had a problem since.

I've got that issue with an aftermarket receiver. The factory amps or something seem to stay on even after I turn off the car and then after a few seconds there is a noticable BOOM as you hear them power down.

I didn't know mine had a radio until my daughter left it on after she gassed it up.

Only kidding. Mine doesn't have that problem.

What type of ignition wires do you have? OEM, aftermarket? You may be getting RF noise caused by badly made ignition wires. Cheap store brands can do this.

Normally having no problems receiving hummers, I believe I've noticed this once in a while.

Wouldn't that manifest itself as crackling that became more frequent as rpm's increased, rather than a hum?
I, too, would think that a hum would lead me to suspect a bad ground.

Oem on the car for everything. My car has 3lt with nav and npp exhaust. The noise stays at the same level no matter how fast or slow or if the car is off. The only non oem part on my car is the mild to wild

Depending on the passenger I sometimes have an annoying whine coming from the passenger seat.
