magnesium wheel lug nut caps

Default magnesium wheel lug nut caps
Can somebody with factory installed magnesium wheels tell me if the plastic caps that cover the nuts are grey colored or gold colored. I am adding magnesiums to my car and the chevy dealer claims caps are only grey. Is this

Personnally I can't stand the plastic covered ones, seen too many people keep losing them. My magnesiums came with chrome ones.

Were chrome caps a factory install, or did you put the wheels on aftermarket? If factory, what model year?
