C5 Exhaust enhancer plate light
Has anyone purchased the exhaust enhancer plate light which is being carried by a certain Corvette parts distributor in Florida? I am curious as to your thoughts on the install and the overall look / value.
Thanks

Ir is an easy install - wiring is not really a problem.
At night they are cool.
As to 'ricer' - each to their own.

I got mine from C5LS1 and highly recomend it! Very easy to install too! I did bypass on doing the piggyback clips since my wires kept slipping from the clip so I just wired it directly into the tag light wires. I get a lot of compliments on it too. It's very noticible but not too bright or gives that ricer feel!

Did my own
After reading about the one for sale (too pricey) I bought a 5 LED strip from someone on line and did it myself. I already have a plate there so all there was, was the need to light it. Took off the license plate, fed the wires up from the plate and tapped into the plate lights. Velcroed the light up under the exhaust plate and viola! Paid $5.95 plus shipping for the LED and the rest I had on hand. Took about 2 hours.

I saw one on Ebay from a guy called C5Platelights for less than $35.00 including Priority Mail shipping. It took me less than an hour to install. The instructions were perfect with pictures along the way. It was a red led light complete with power taps and again...great instructions.

Made mine myself.........EASY
Ordered a three-LED light from Super Bright LED's and just used some RTV silicone to fix it under the rear bumper. I chose red LED's in that I have an AE and the exhaust enhancer is the same color.
I get several comments about the subtlety on the light and the overall look.
Here is a poor picture, but you get the idea.
