AC/Delco High Performance Rotors
I'm thinking of adding slotted/drilled rotors. Anyone have any opinions on OEM AC Delco slotted/drilled high performance rotors? How about the AC Delco high performance pads? Thanks in advance

Drilled rotors will eventually crack if you don't drive like granny all the time. If you DO get AC Delco slotted rotors, you may want to paint them or you'll be seeing plenty of rust.
I bought PowerSlot rotors - excellent quality and cadmium-plated, which is much more durable than zinc-washing. The nice thing about slotted rotors is that you can combine them with the OEM pads (great stopping ability) without worrying about the pulsating pedal issue (due to uneven pad deposits on the rotor).

for bling inexpensive D/S rotors look great, but they do reduce stopping power and under severe use can crack.
The A/C Delco are not plated ( neither Zinc nor Cadmium) and will RUST on both the non fire path area, the vanes and the hats.
If you want inexpensive bling rotors, I use Sportbrakes www.sportbrakes.com
I have over 20K miles on them and they look like new.
I have heard others speak favorably about Powerslot.
You can alos get dimpled/slotted or just slotted if you are worried about cracking of drilled rotors.
IMHO, The secret to avoid cracking is to buy a higher quality rotor and ensure the drilled hole is chamfered.

I have those Delcos and HATE them. They are not rust treated at all so when the car gets wet my chrome rims get soaked in rust.
I'm going to spend the extra $$$ next time and get zinc dipped. I painted the Delco's hats and veins but they still rust all over the place.

I have the Delco upgraded rotors for the C5, not a bad rotor but there are definitely better, (and worse). It does need to be painted for the center bolt area or hidden with a hub plate cover. If you look at the new base C6 the centers are covered in a cheap primer away. I had mine painted when I powder coated the calipers - turned out very nice.
