Default might get flamed... i want to raise my car back up... need help

ok, ive never messed with the suspension. i know you can raise/lower on stock bolts, but i do not know which way to turn the bolt... obviously thats most important. i hate having this car lowered, it likes to scrape, the front is higher than the rear, just plain dont like it at all. i want to raise it to the levels that i find appropriate. i will leave it a tad bit lowered, but not like it sits now.

main question is, which way to i turn the bolt to raise it up? right(tighten) or left(loosen)?

please dont flame me, it looks good lowered... just not at the expense of my paint and underbody being ruined.
