I've been really busy with work and some other around the home projects and have not had a chance to do much with the car lately.

I did buy a set of C5R Specter Werkes lights but have been trying to get a set of their exposed lights instead. SW does not make them anymore but one of the CF members has a set and I have been trying to work with him to get them.

Hahahaha

It's been fun for awhile but it does take its toll on ya.

I wish my job was not as demanding, but then I would not have had the money to do such a project.

I'm trying to clean up my act and get things in order at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some time during the holidays to work on it.

It's coming along. I have been busy running all of the country most of this year and have been slow to respond to ACP on some changes, etc..

Got to much going on all at the same time.

Digging up the dead here, but does anyone by chance have the pics that were posted in this thread? Considering the conversion, but photobucket seems to have dumped the images.

When I get some time I'll post up some pictures of the project. Everything was going well with the project until the economy took a dump and a bunch of the vendors and suppliers had money problems.

I ended up parting the car out before finishing it up. These days I haven't had much time for any more project cars and just stop by once in awhile to see what's going on.

You'll need to find yourself a wrecked coupe and get the targa top, window mouldings and latch hardware.

You basically, have to cut off your roof panel at the rear top frame member and add in a strip from a coupe to make the rear channel. The front (windshield) area is just cleaned up and you install a coupe rubber moulding.

You'll also need to swap around some of the interior panels. There use to be a few threads on the forum showing the swap.

I never really liked the targa tops especially when you take them off as they occupy the entire trunk area.

Thanks for the info! I don't keep much in the trunk anyway but would really enjoy having the removable roof in the car!
