REAL easy fix for those with window seal wind noise!! PICS
I purchased my 03 Z06 back in nov and first thing I noticed was a pretty bad window wind noise around the REAR section of the window and top rear corner. I have done plenty of researching and read all the window "tip in" procedures, however it seems like for most wind noise problems those rarely fix the problem. This method doesn't have anything to do with the window adjustment!! (which is a good thing)
Basically, my windows seem to butt up against the top just fine but the rear section didn't seem to put enough pressure against the window. It appeared my vehicle has been in the shop for this issue as well from the previous owner as you will see in the pictures the poor job they did just trying to use some sealant
Remove the weather stripping by simply pulling it out. The bottom rear section has two push pins holding it in. Once you remove the weather stripping on the rear you will see three screws holding a black track in place. What I did was simple loosen those screws and pull that track towards the outside of the car (the holes are large allowing for this slight adjustment). This is the tracking that holds the weather stripping in place. What I also did was slightly bend outward the inner portion of the track which will push the weather stripping outward tighter against the window. The weather stripping is easy to put back in as well just push it in then either use your finger or a flat head screw driver to push the upper lip into the tracking (you will know when its in place correctly). As you will now see in the finished pictures you can actually see the seal against the window which is something it did not do prior to this. Doing both sides took me all of 30 minutes and cost nothing. This will also work anywhere on the window as the upper track can be worked as well. Hope this helps someone out as I am MUCH happier now.

I didn't purchase any weather stripping its already on the car.
Oh one more thing I forgot to mention do not over do it as then it will cause problems when trying to roll the window up with the door closed. So you pretty much have to play with bending that rear piece to where it pushes the weather stripping tighter against the window but still allows the window to close properly. I also found out that you can do all this without removing everything just peel the rear side of the weather stripping and you will see that rear piece of the tracking and you can bend it its very light gauge metal and bends with one finger.

Great post. I had just installed new weatherstripping, and I could still hear "noise" from that area. Got mine looking a little better, we'll see tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing, this might be the phantom wind noise in my 04 Coupe I just started hearing. It's coming from the same location but not sure if it is the top itself yet.
