Jacking question
I know this is a silly question...
If you jack the car up a corner at at time using the jacking pucks and a low profile jacke, where do you put the jackstands? Is it safe to have the front and back both jacked up and put on jackstands a the same time?
Also, Can I use a hockey puck as a jacking puck without drilling a hole in it if I am just going to do one corner at a time? Does it have to be imobilized on the frame of the car?

If you plan on lifting the entire Front / Rear or both I wouldn't do it from the frame rails. I would use jacking location 1 (cross members) on the picture below.
Here's a link to a previous post on jacking up a Corvette. It should answer all of your questions

you're better off jacking the whole front and/or the whole rear at once.. much easier.. as for your puck question, i wouldnt think it is a 'must' for it to be secured to the car, as long as it is positioned where it will not slip from the jack.. it's just there to protect your rocker panels
