License Pate Screw Size
Anyone know what size screws go on the stock license plate (Blank). Mine are missing and want to remove the State plate and put the blank in.

Just bought some stainless screws last weekend
1/4 -20 X 1/2 (these are to mount the actual license plate)
EDIT: I"m thinking you are trying to put the filler panel back in (says corvette)? If so then they are taping screws (pretty small), not sure the size off hand but will look.

Not sure on the fronts, but the rear plate is held on with M6 x 1.0 x 10mm machine screws. I couldn't get stainless at Lowe's so I ordered a set from McMaster-Carr.

Front filler panel is held by two #8 x 3/4" pan head sheet metal (or tapping) screws. You can use phillips, square drive or torx if you can find them.
