Default NXT STEP Performance catback arrived

My goodness! When we opened the box and unwrapped these, we were amazed. These things are gorgeous! Well packed and not a scratch on them. Made in China out of 304 SS but the welds are beautiful and the quality, unimpeachable. They are every bit as nice as the Borla Stingers I ran on my C5 a few years ago. Only downside is the sukky clamps but I have better ones laying around in the basement.

I'll be installing these, with Mrs. Patches' help, this weekend. If they sound as good as they look, she will be one happy lady. May have to replace my Ti's with a set of these as well.

I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story.

Even Minnie Pearl approves of these tips

The Borlas for comparison

I did polish the Borla cans way back when

The inside of the Borla can - note that the NSP can is almost identical

And a sneak peek at my custom ramps. I'll be posting pics of these in action for the first time this weekend.

I loved the way they sounded when I got them on my car about 6 months ago. Now that I added headers and got rid of the cats.... mother of god they are insane. Still no drone though.

Those are awesome! They are essentially Borla Stingers with Corsa tips.

So what's the difference between those and the ones that come with the exhaust. They look quite similar from what I can tell.

Can't wait to hear what those sound like. Hope you can get a sound bite after install. The quality and welds look as good or better than others I've seen.

Same size you get with the system, 2.5". You'll notice when you get them they're much better quality and wider than the ones supplied with the system.
