Default M1-107 oil filter

It seems a lot of people run this filter over the stock AC Delco and or Wix(napa) filter.

Any H/C cars using this filter and how are you liking it? Oil pressure still normal or possibly better with it?

Reason Im asking is I got 2 of them through an Autozone sale 5 quarts of mobile 1 and an oil filter for $25.99.

Thanks,
Matt

I used to run the Mobil Filter and the UPF-44. Because of reading here about oil flow problems (some said these filters filter too good, at the expense of flow and pressure), I changed to WIX (or NAPA Gold, same filter), and my cold oil pressure went up 10-15 psi. Since the oil pressure sensor is after the filter, this means more oil flow. Also got an oil analysis after 6,000 miles, no difference.

Mobil 1 is a great filter.Used on my old ZR-1 for 8+ years and continue to use it on the C5 that has H/C.

I bought enough oil at Autozome to get 4 mobil1 filters...
1 for each of the 2 C5's, Trailblazer and Silverade.
I have been the Mobil1 fillter for about 3 years... At least one of our vehicles has one in it at any given time...
I have noticed no drop in oil pressure

An excellent filter
