Melting Slicks
Both BFG and Nitto make DRs for the 18" rim and the cost between the 18 & 17 is so small it's not worth it IMO. The pics with 17s on the cars look like crap in the rear. Because of the design, they look like they're running 18s up front and 17s in the rear. Why do that to yourself?

18" rim = $287 per tire
17" rim = $199 per tire

2023 C5 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Just out of interest after reading All Corvettes are Red, 17s all round was one of the early options
The reason they went with 18s on the rear was to give the car that nose low look. The designers thought it was more aggressive.

IMO you have to get the car as low as possible to get the wheel gaps right . The only problem I had was when I went to a longer rear spring bolt and got the rear about a 1/2" lower than I was able to get with the stock bolts , the rear spring would just barely hit the lip of the rim . The rims are Malletts 17x11 rear , 17x9.5 front .
