Default Awesome Trade

Have a guy at work that has a 2000 Porche Boxster and I came out one day last week and he was looking at the Vette.
He was fascinated with it. His Boxster is really clean and he keeps it that way.
He asked about milage. He gets 22 mpg and I took him around the block then let him drive it a bit.
He really loved it. Power, comfort etc.

He came in this morning with a 2001 black Vert. He traded the Porche. He took a few days off and went shopping. His Vert came from a dealer up near Pontiac MI and it has 12k on it and it is clean as a whistle. The dealer gave him a LT warrenty on engine and drivetrain which I find unbelieveable, but he showed me the paperwork. Can't remember the Dealer name but he said all the Vettes the dealership sells with under 20 k gets the same. He said he got 30.4 coming back to Ohio and couldn't be happier. He and his wife took off to Florida for two weeks. Said he needed a road trip.
Another convert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, we take care of people here in Michigan... You should all come up here to buy your Vettes.... Bring lots of money.. we need it... We will even sell our Governor with a lifetime warranty if you promise to keep her.. $12.00 plus tax and title.. Of course the tax will be outrageous..

Cool story. Always nice to share the Vette world with others and show them what they are missing.

I amazes to why some members seem to think that we are writing a thesis, or a term paper here. All we are doing is exchanging ideas. I didn't know you had to be a spelling bee champ to do that.

No gold star on your term paper.

I've seen some posts on here that I could hardly understand, they were so full of cyber jargon. A couple misspellings...no big deal.

I made the switch from Porsches (yes, several) to Corvettes. For those of you who complain about the Corvette Tax, check out the Porsche Tax!
Corvettes are cheaper, faster, more docile in traffic, and get better gas mileage. Corvettes also have a better color selection.
