Default Anyone put Frost King between the door panel and door?

Anyone put Frost King between the door panel and door?

I don't mean on the interior of the door where the FK could get wet. I mean added to the back of the upholstered door panel?

Let me put it this way. My insulation/interior/sound system project was a 6 week long nightmare. The doors were the last thing that I did at 3am, and I was pissed off. I shoved the insulation in there and beat the door panels into place. Just make sure you get it in really tight where the styrofoam parts are in the door. My door panels don't fit 100% right, but all I need to do is trim the insulation in a couple spots, buy new clips for the ones I broke, and put it all back together with more patience.

I did my passenger door today while I was swapping LEDs in the door switch lights........but I didn't like the way it went back on.

Guess I need to pull the panel again and do some more trimming

When I put my car back together after paint this spring I put Grace Ice and Water Shield on the back side of exterior door skin after a good cleaning of surface. I think it made a difference. More solid sounding when closing too. I currently have five rolls of Frostking to put on floors one of these days in the comming winter..
