Who makes the best shifter for the C5?

I prefer a loose shifter that isn t spring loaded feeling. My B&M shifter has a VERY spring loaded feeling to it.

Who makes a shifter that s not so "tight" to shift? Can the springs be removed from the B&M shifter? Or do i need to sell mine or trade for a better one?

P.S.- 6 speed Z06 tranny

I have the 08 C6-Z06 shifter - and I love it. I used to have a B&M and it was way too stiff.

Stiff! Thats a good description!

C6 Z06 huh? Ok. Does this require a different leather boot?
