Installed Baer 14" Rear Rotor with CCW's *Shaved Rotors*
Guys:
I installed the 14" rear Baer Eradispeed rotors under my CCW SP500's. It was not as difficult as I expected. Just do what makes sence...
Baer EradiSpeed-Plus-Two Brake Rotors
Baer PN 2302021 - Rear 14"
Old Rotors installed
Old and new Rotors
Old Rotor
New Rotor
Adapter to move the Caliper out. Torque all bolts to 110ftlbs.
Caliper Installed. Time to see how much I need to shave Caliper.
RotoZip with one bit for fast grinding(left), and other for shaping/smoothing (right). Got the bits at Home Depot.
Before Shaving caliper
After Shaving Caliper. I also used a power palm sander with 100 grit then moved to 400 grit to smooth out the caliper surface. Its smooth as a baby's azz now...
Wheels back on, Sorry for the dirty wheels. The grinding got kinda dusty in the garage...
Couple pics cleaned up tonight...
The gringing gave me about 4-5mm or so even spacing between my wheel spoke and my caliper. I am going to drive it a bit to see if I see any marks before painting the calipers. I got some DupliColor Red Caliper paind from Auto Zone. That might be next weeks DIY project....
I'm going to wait till the tax man pays me back before going for the Baer EradiSpeed Front 13.35" rotors... (Baer PN 2301053 - Front 13.350")

That looks fantastic, especially with the SP500's. Great choice! I've got a new set of 14" eradispeeds sitting on the shelf, and now I want the same rims as you! I guess I'll have to start watching the "for sale" section for a good used set. What rim/tire size combo are you using?

The installation instructions came with the rotors. I just followed the instructions . Normally I dont read the instructions (as us guys normally do).... . I wanted to at least make sure I did not miss anything though. One piece of detail I found interesting.... It said to only torque the 5x wheel lugs to 85-90ft lbs. It says that you could warp the aluminum hat... . I followed that instruction for sure !
