Default Need to replace my radio cd/unit....easy job?

My cd player does not work. when I put in a cd I get an 'Err' code and the cd pops out. Is this a common problem? Should I just replace the head unit? Also how hard is it to do. any pic's of replacement tips? I tried doing a search but no luck.
Thanks

It will take some time, You first have to open the console lid and remove the 2 nuts in the rear, Then remobe the T/C cover and there is 2 screws under that I believe, Then there are a few screws in the ash tray to remove and there is also one screw hidden in the little pop off vent where there is a sensor hidden next to the key.

Easy enough. Follow the instrucions here to remove the console. Then remove the 4 bolts in the front of the stereo and the connectors on the rear.

There is no need to remove the shifter or the boot, The bezel will move around to get the radio out.

I didn't mean for him to remove the shifter. Guess I should have made that clear just in case.
