Need to replace my radio cd/unit....easy job?
My cd player does not work. when I put in a cd I get an 'Err' code and the cd pops out. Is this a common problem? Should I just replace the head unit? Also how hard is it to do. any pic's of replacement tips? I tried doing a search but no luck.
Thanks

It will take some time, You first have to open the console lid and remove the 2 nuts in the rear, Then remobe the T/C cover and there is 2 screws under that I believe, Then there are a few screws in the ash tray to remove and there is also one screw hidden in the little pop off vent where there is a sensor hidden next to the key.

Easy enough. Follow the instrucions here to remove the console. Then remove the 4 bolts in the front of the stereo and the connectors on the rear.

on an auto do nothing with shifter except maybe put in neutral to easy removal, on a 6spd the boot will unclip from counsel, no need to touch the ****
