I have never needed to do it but the manual simply says:

" Pry carefully with a small, flat-bladed screwdriver (at the rear edge of the lens, furthest from the windshield)."

Dude, you need to be VERY careful or you'll break the clips holding the bulbs.
Here are some tips:
-Close the doors and wait for the lights to be cold.
-Do not attempt to pry the bulbs out with the screwdriver. I did and blew a fuse!
-The clips holding the bulbs are very fragile. There is a flimsy piece of plastic behind them which cracked on me.

I had to order a new mirror and I'm going to try to take the bulbs out next time w/ needle-nose pliers b/c my fingers can't grasp the bulbs.

Thanks for the info. I'll try it this weekend. This is the standard mirror.

do yourself a favor while there and get high output LED instead. Nicer light and never burn out again.

You can remove the mirror so you can work on it more easily.. Just loosen the allen screw that holds it to the windshield and unplug the cable..

Excellant suggestion. Then you can take the mirror in the house, place a towel on the table and place the mirror on the towel and then go to work on lense / bulb removal.

WTF man! I tried to help you, but it's hard to explain everything when I did mine months ago.
