This is probably a stupid question, but how difficult is it to remove the stock flag inserts?

These are cool, I have them on my car. Removing the OEM units are not too hard to remove. Just use a flat screw driver and SLOWLY pry them out of the black emblem. Then clean the area with alcohol (jack daniels works well if you are taking a few shots too) and stick the new AMERICAN and checkered flag inserts in place of the OEM units.

So you wanted both sides to be the American flag?

I prefer the looks of the existing "Checkered Flag" over the one offered. I would just change the "Fleur-de-Lis" flag.

Like the other posters said... Sign me up if you make color coded inserts to "blackout" the front.

These install over the stock pieces, very quick and easy to do.
