Please tell me it is so. I know I seen articles that they were supposed to use some prototype C7 but that looks more like a C5 to me.

I do not see pop-up lamps... not sure, only watched a couple of times. It would make more sense to showcase new stuff (like the Camaro in the last movie).

If there is, it will just be destroyed along with the other cars. Several GTO's and the SSR bought it in the original movie.

There is a silver car in the new Transformers movie called the "Corvette Centenial Concept" GM has said it is not the C7, just a concept car. It is a Corvette, but only a concept.
Do a search on yahoo or google and type in Transformers 2 Corvette and you'll get more pictures. After I watch the above link, if it works, I will find the pics and try and post them.
