Who and how on LED interior lights!
I tried searching first before posting this thread, but it's not working so I figured I would just ask. I am interested in doing the interior LED mod on my '03 Z06, and was wondering who sells them on the forum. I'm thinking of going red in the footwells and mirror lights. Also, how do the little pods come out of the mirror...do they just pull out? I tried but didn't want to force them without knowing for sure. Someone on ebay has the map lights, but I have to send the pods in...not a plug and play. Is this the case? I know I have read about a 100 different threads on this topic, but of course can't find any when I decide to do it.

On the how-to, start here:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...od-thread.html
I've started on my interior, and have been asking tstar for advice. He will perform the mods if you need help. I read this thread, and added the LED strips under the doors. I didn't replace the footwell lights like he described, but spliced them in parallel.

For LED vendors, there are several on CF. Jhonathan_W and corvettemods1, comes to mind, but can't remember any others. Don't worry, they'll post here soon enough!
For other sources, try Autolumination and V-LEDS.
And, of course, post pics when you're done!

We have a few in stock and offer plenty of LED mods. Send me a PM with requests and I'll point you in the right direction.

For your mirror it depends if you have the auto dimming one or not. The base mirror uses a 212-2 Festoon bulb while the auto uses an LED array. The array works good for Red or Orange but the board needs modified to get all the LEDs to work if changing to Blue or White...

With a couple of strategically placed jumpers you can get 5 out of 6 led to light to full strength without altering the board. I put 4 red and 2 blue on each side for a purplish look and they all light up great. All blue or white will not light up to full strength on all 6.
