Default EBCM issue, wheres ABSFIXER???

hey guys,
my ebcm is on the frtiz... time for a rebuild.

i've been looking for absfixer on this forum, and member list... can't seem to find him. is he still on here fixing our ebcm's???

any help would be appreciated!!!

Also, anyone have directions to remove the ebcm? mine is engine mounted.

Just saw that it looks like you have a 98, if so, I don't think he can help you, just 2001 - 2004. Give him a call to be sure.

yea, i do have a 98'. he doesn't fix those??? that really sux! so my option is just to buy another one, that "may" fail again???

damn... i will email/call Brandon for sure though. i have heard LOTS of people getting theirs' fixed by him and no issues at all...

Check your codes, it may just be a loose wire at the wheel. New unit wouldn't fix that. That is what mine was a loose wire and I just put it back together tightly. Done

Call Bob @ Fichtner Chev, 1-800-234-5284. They are running a repeat of the employee pricing special on all GM (except Saturn @ Hummer) parts. I think it's through the month of April. Serious discount. Lower than normal.
