NO Cats Ck engine light no fix worked!!!!!!
Here is a story about man name jed who FU&%ed up his vette!!
I bought OBX headers, straight pipes, and Billy Bullet exhaust. Installed it at the local shop and it was awesome!! except for the check engine light. So I researched itbought the military grade O2 sensor simulators and treid to install them. Before we installed them the mechanic tried to rewire them and the car ran like **** and rich. When the siimulators came in the car ran still ran rich. Has anyone EVER done it themselves and ahve real world expereince fixing this? I got a 2003 50th Ann Conv with 19k miles sitting useless. I am so pissed I can't see straight. SOMONE TAKE MERCY ON ME AND HELP!!!

Just take it to a tuner familiar with Vettes and they can tune it out with no problem, and make it run better too.

As the above posters said, the tuner can tune out the rear 02's with a tech II. The front 02's do the reading and tell the computer how to adjust. The rear 02's are only there to tell the computer that the cats are working properly. This is the reason you have a SES light now. They don't see the same reading they did when the cats were there, so they are telling the computer that something is wrong, and you get the light..
I removed my cats about 3 montha ago, and I got the light after about 75 miles of driving. I still have it at the moment. I haven't had a chance to go get a tune and get it taken out.

Post a thread in C5 scan and tune and ask the same question. You are likely to get a response with someone near by.

i have OBX headers and B&B Bullets with no tune right now and didnt mess with anything but the O2 extensions. No Codes runs and sounds great
A tune is in the near future however

I installed the same setup - Headers, no cats, borla. After initial install I had check engine light, codes and ran like do-do. Took it for a tune at RPM in Claymont, De and it runs excellent and have no check engine light or codes. Like others have said, get a tune from a reputable tuner. Good luck!!
