My jake exhaust plate project.
Yesterday I finished up this project.
I wanted a Jake for my exhaust plate, but had neither Jake nor an exhaust plate. So I found this picture
And turned it into this. My fingers are not very clever.
Turned on this.
I uses this old paint tray for a flat piece of plastic. And leftover paints from my calipers.
15 minutes later.
A little tape, and shazaaam! JAKE.
He is a little ghetto, but I like him. Obvioulsly up close you can see the imperfections. However, to get up close you have to really be trying. To see him standing or in the car behind he looks great. 30min project till I motivate myself to get a proper vynl sticker made.

I did exactly the same thing. Didn't dawn on me to try a color.
Very creative use of the paint tray too!!! I bought a plate off the for sale section. Someone tried to paint it but messed it up. Got it nice and cheap.
I did mine backwards though. Should have painted the plate white then came over with the black. My way (black then white for the skull) was way way harder.
But it came out nice. Like you said, some imperfections, but no one can see.
