Help with stat id
I received my lpe 160 degree thermostat today. No packing slip in box, just the housing and stat with an lpe sticker. I drain coolant (well, a little bit with the fast switch method), go to replace stat and it doesn’t fit. Can anyone id the stat I have. the brackets are too wide and looks like a 2004 stat and housing.
thanks for the help

i just ran across a post from a member saying that he replaced his pump and the new pump uses the 2004 style stat. I have a spare 2004 stat (SLP 100228) that I will try tomorrow. Hopefully the thing just pops outta the housing easily.

I have a 2002 and installed a 160 on my car and the stock and the new one looks like the one in the left in the picture.
