Default NGK Iridium Sparkplugs-Gap?

Hi there.
I have a 2002 Corette C5

I just tried several Spark Plug options.
The Bosch +4 Iridium:
Result loss of low rpm power and 30%sound decrease.
Next I used the NGK Iridium IX plugs, sound is back to normal. But the engine seems that it doesnt rev up as quick under full throttle. The NGK cames with a preset gap at .40. I gaped them to 0.60.
Is that correct to gap them to .60 like the AC Delco Original Platinum plugs?
Question is should I gap the NGK plugs to 0.40 or 0.60.

If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Split the difference .050.

The car will run fine between .040 - .060

With the TR55ix the preset gap is .059, so that's a good gap to leave them at (that's what I have and my engine runs great)

But it sounds like you bought the TR5ix, which is the same plug other than the fact that the preset gap is .039.

Because the iridium tip can be easily broken, they say not to change the gap on these plugs, but you can do it if you're extremely careful. Just keep in mind that it's not good to change the gap by more than ten thou either way. So with the TR5ix you can't go any higher than .049.
