Automobile Mag Vette vs. Porsche 911 Pull Quote
Not a huge fan of car mags, but killing time yesterday at the hospital, bought the Sept. 09 edition of Automobile magazine. Cool issue, with various classics pitted against one another - i.e., Camaro vs. Mustang, Ferrari vs. Lamborghini and the inevitable Corvette vs. Porsche 911.
In the end, and even though they're talking C6 vs. current 911, I love the pull quote attributed to two guys IM-ing each other with their passionate rivalry:
"...when it comes to overcompensation, I think the 911 and the Corvette are pretty much even. Except that the 911 is aimed at people who want to spend twice the money for less performance, because that's how much they hate America!"
Gotta love it!!!
