Rear brake ducts.
I have the Z06 rear brake ducts vents painted the body color on my vett. The paint on them really get chipped up. Does the carbon fiber brake ducts chip as bad as the ones that are painted?

My stock black ones are totally chewed up,,,I don't feel so alone anymore. It is the reason however why I havn't upgraded to CF, I don't think they would last very long without chipping.

The carbon fiber ducts will hold up longer than the stock plastic ones. No matter what you do, they all will get chips in them. I had the original ducts on there for about three years before I put the CF ducts on and they are really messed up.

They will get chipped eventually. While the painted ones look good, it's just a matter of time before they are covered with chip marks.
