Un-tinting turn signals, before and after pics
I bought these from Jhonathan_W, these were a set of tint rejects bc there was some runs in the paint and cracking of the original clear.
It was a simple process, for any of you guys that want to do this...
So basically what i did was take some PPG reducer for paint, rub it down and let it sit for 2-3 minutes...
wet a rag down with reducer and rub the tint off...
wash with soap and water to get the reducer off, then dry the light...
sand with 400 grit to smooth everything down...
wash the light again and let it dry...
sprayed 2 coats of generic clear from the parts store...
It took me all of 30 minutes from start to finish for both lights including cleaning up.
this is what it looked like before, like most tinted lights:
and after, good as new:
