How do you remove the license panel on the front bumper on a C 5.? I need to install the front license plate, the state troopers are going wild with nick picking, and a front license is a requirement. I don't want another ticket.

There are two small screws at the bottom of the front plate, small screwdriver takes them out and there is a lip at the top that keeps it in place.

On my 2000 it takes a #5 star/torx screwdriver.

The retractable license plate holder is another option if you don't want to remove the front cover.

A magnetic tip screwdriver makes it easier to put them back in.
