Door lock problem
I am having a door lock problems on the driver side. The door will unlock with the key fob and also unlock using the button on the door also. the relays are working because I can hear them clicking. The solenoid in the door is also working because I can activate the relay by putting a 12 volt source to it and it will lock.
the problem is that the drivers side door doesnt lock with the key fob or using the button on the door. Do you guys have any suggestions on what the problem is?

What year is your car?
If it is '99 and under, it has the passive remote system which is known for problems.

Sounds like burnt contacts inside the relay. They are pretty cheap and easy to replace. I would suggest replace them both, the lock and unlock relays. Here is my instruction post if you need more info or email me.

The OP didn't really say what the problem wasn't doing. But, we forgive everyone here and it almost assuredly is as mentioned, the relays in the LDCM

Ok, if you already changed the relay, then you may have a cold solder joint on one of the relay pins. I would re-solder them again and look for any damage to the circuit print. And FYI, the door control modules can be swapped to test. It is also possible the coil on the lock/unlock solenoid has gone bad, but it is not as easy to check as swapping the modules.

I have an extra LDCM for a '99 that I have no need of any more. I bought it from the auction site because it was a good deal at the time and I did install and try it. It worked. Your's in if you want it or need it.

I swapped the control modules and the door lock started working on the drivers side. So where can I get a control module from besides the dealership. I called them and they said it would be 400 dollars for one.
Thanks for your help guys muchly appreciated
