other than the hood, which is too busy in my opinion, i like the kit.

it would look better as a solid color, though.

Nice job but reminiscent of the RX8 IMHO

Just came back this AM to check it out again, and I really like it. I would lose the gas cap and the Corvette letters over the window, but I would keep everything else.

It is a very nice looking car IMHO, best looking body kit I have ever seen on a C5, it really gives it a C5R/Mercedes AMG Black look, between the paint and the fenders. Very tough looking car.

Did the owner do any mods on the engine??

Except for the gas cap I like it

But then again, I may be a bit bias

ACP, Rear facia, Rear Fenders, overlay splitter

and it is a spoiler, not a wing.

you dont want to slam it if you drive it, it will hit everything on the road if slammed

Thanks for the input all. Mea culpa on the "wing vs spoiler".

For those interested in a little more info, look up item number 320448342993 on "the big auction site".

IMO.... I love it...

If I was to add a body kit to my Corvette I would most likely buy this one.

I think this kits adds the WOW factor to the Corvette. I would change the hood on it or even keep it stock. I would add a wing to the back and leave the gas door on the car. If your trying to get the VIPER look then I would leave everything as it is shown in the pictures.

I know there are many body kits out there like the Tiger Shark Bumpers which I am not a fan of. I think it makes the Corvette look CHEAP!!!! Again this is IMO only and if you have one on your car I hope you love it, I just would never buy it. I love the way the corvette looks as is...
Like I said if I was to add a body kit it would most likely be this one...

I agree with you on the Tiger Shark kit. This kit is an all out race look, and the hood is like the original C5R hood. I like it as it goes with this look, a stock hood would just not look right. Actually I am not a fan of wings, but a low profile wing instead of the spoiler might just complete the look.
I think it needs to be looked at for what the owner was trying to accomplish with the kit, and that was the race look. I realize everyone is not in favor of modifying the body on Corvette's, but again does this kit accomplish what it was intended to do. Almost in my opinion. There are a few items that may need to be changed, such as the wheels and it needs to be lower some.

Vents on the hood look like they are from auto zone. I like the wind splitter though.

I like more plain looks, but whatever you do, get rid of the fuel cap.

Don't expect to go real fast, the wheel flares, especially the fronts are a big aerodynamic drag, not digging it.

Corvette script on windshield is what we need, so we know what it is!

If you like it, go for it. There are some things to that body kit I like, some I don't. It will certainly make a bold statement.

I purchased the car back in January after my car was totaled. I have made a lot of changes and have many more to do. I love the car and have plans on changing the hood and some deep dish rims in the future. Here is a thread of heads and cam with video.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...cam-video.html
